B1. What the Community is
The Community is a small, moderated space for Members to write honestly about the search for a partner and the life around it. It is not a social feed, it is not a place to advertise yourself, and it is not a substitute for talking to a match.
B2. Who can do what
- Free Members can read the Community.
- Any Member on a paid Membership can post.
- Any Member on a paid Membership may be selected for a featured post.
- Featured posts are chosen by our team for the quality of the writing. Placement cannot be bought.
B3. How it works
- There are no comments. This is a deliberate design decision to keep the space calm.
- There are three reactions, and they are anonymous. No one can see who reacted.
- Author names appear as plain text. A name links to a profile only where the two of you are already connected. The Community is not a way to browse people.
- Every post carries a report and hide option.
B4. Good things to write about
- What you are actually looking for, and what you have learned about that.
- Questions about the process, meeting families, or timing.
- Honest experiences, including the difficult ones.
- Culture, city life, work, food, travel, books, and the ordinary things that make a person recognisable.
- Practical help for other Members, such as how you handled a difficult conversation at home.
B5. What must not be posted
- Phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles, usernames or external links. The composer blocks these patterns.
- Promotion of any business, service, event, job, investment or other platform.
- Photographs of other people, screenshots of chats, screenshots of profiles, or any other Member’s details.
- Anything that identifies or complains about a specific Member. Report them to us instead.
- Slurs or generalisations about a caste, religion, region, language, disability, gender, sexual orientation, occupation, appearance or health status.
- Political or religious campaigning.
- Dowry references of any kind.
- Sexual content, or content that is obscene, threatening, defamatory or unlawful.
- Medical, legal or financial advice presented as professional advice.
- Requests for people to rate your profile or your photographs.
- Repetitive posting, spam, or content copied from elsewhere without attribution.
B6. Moderation
- We may remove a post, hide it, or restrict Community access without prior notice where it breaches these guidelines.
- Repeated breaches affect your Membership and may lead to closure of your account under clause 22.
- A moderation decision may be reviewed once under clause 21.4.
B7. Outside the Community
Do not screenshot or republish Community posts anywhere outside the Platform. What people write here, they write in a space they believe is private to Members.
